About us

We put brands in people's hands

BTL Marketing Co. has been running below-the-line campaigns across India since 2012.

Our story

Built on the ground, scaled with tech

We started with society activations and grew into national programmes for FMCG, automobile, BFSI, telecom, real estate and technology brands. The work has not changed much: put a trained person in front of a real buyer, in a place that buyer already goes, and give them something useful to say. What changed is the infrastructure needed to do that in seventy cities at once without the standard slipping.

That infrastructure is deliberately unglamorous. Workshops that build the same unit to the same drawing in every city. A liaison team whose entire job is approval chains and their dependencies. Local recruitment in each market, with identity verification and a scored mock session before anyone deploys. And reporting built so that a weak location is visible in the first week rather than in the closing deck.

We are explicit about what we do not do. We do not quote lump sums, because a lump sum hides which line you are negotiating. We do not report footfall as a headline number, because it counts people who walked past. And we do not publish claims about other agencies' pricing or performance, because we have no way to verify them.

Ask to see an attendance report and geo-tagged photo proof from a campaign that ran last week. Everything else is a brochure.

How we work

Four things we do in-house

Most of what goes wrong in on-ground marketing happens at a handover between vendors — the fabricator blames the agency, the agency blames the staffing partner, and the brand is left holding a campaign that did not run. We own all four links, which is less about capability than about there being nobody else to point at.
