Activations for every industry
15 categories, each with its own commercial problem, its own buying behaviour and its own compliance constraints.
Why this matters
The format follows the category, not the other way round
A society activation that works for a broadband brand will not work for a car maker, and not because the execution differs — because the buying behaviour does. One is an impulse-adjacent decision made at the door in a few minutes; the other is a considered purchase with a test drive in the middle and a decision cycle measured in weeks. The same canopy, the same promoters and the same budget produce completely different results against those two problems.
Each industry page below starts from the commercial problem that category is actually solving for — shelf offtake, qualified site visits, churn, admissions, test drives, app transactions — and works back to the formats that address it, the metrics the category's marketing team is genuinely measured on, and the compliance constraints that apply. Several of these categories are regulated, and those constraints are stated plainly rather than glossed over.
| Industry | The commercial problem |
|---|---|
| FMCG | Converting footfall into shelf pick-up at the exact aisle, not just brand recall |
| Automobile | Getting a genuinely in-market, qualified lead onto a test drive rather than curious footfall that never converts |
| Real Estate | Generating leads that are financially and intent-qualified before a site visit is booked, not just contact details |
| Banking, Finance & Insurance | Completing document collection and verification in a single on-ground interaction without losing the prospect to friction |
| Telecom & Broadband | Acquisition cost only pays back if the connection stays active past the first few billing cycles, so churn is as much a BTL concern as sign-up volume |
| Consumer Electronics | The in-store demonstration deciding the sale at the counter, more than any prior advertising |
| Education & EdTech | A dual audience in every interaction — student interest has to be won, but the parent usually approves and pays |
| Healthcare & Pharma | Keeping practitioner-facing and patient-facing activity separate, since what can be said to each audience is governed differently |
| Beverages | Alcohol advertising restrictions in India mean most brand-led consumer activity has to be on-premise rather than open sampling |
| Fashion & Lifestyle | Converting mall or event footfall into an actual store visit while the relevant collection is still in-season |
| E-commerce & Apps | The gap between install and first transaction, where most of the funnel's value is actually lost |
| Agri & Rural Brands | Distribution reach into villages and small towns where the product may not yet be stocked nearby |
| Government & PSU | Last-mile reach into exactly the population a scheme or programme targets, often dispersed, low-literacy or both |
| Paints & Home Improvement | The contractor or painter frequently making the brand recommendation the homeowner then follows, more than any consumer advertising |
| QSR & Food Delivery | Driving footfall for one specific outlet's trade area, not brand awareness at a city level |
